Product QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer (f/m/d)

What we’re looking for:

As a Product QA Engineer you will be responsible for creating and ensuring quality standards, systematically testing our products and releases, to ensure quality and improve our users satisfaction and conversion rates.

Your responsibilities:

  • Systematically test our products and features releases to ensure quality across all appropriate devices, use cases and scenarios
  • Detect, fix and avoid bugs, working closely with our product managers, designers, copywriters and software engineers
  • Improve, communicate and keep excellent quality and testing standards for our products
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions by updating our processes and reporting formats
  • Collect and analyse data to ensure quality in the long term
  • Evaluation & feedback to feature specifications, user flows & briefings in the context of feature testing
  • Revise Feature specs and UI/UX designs with Product Managers, giving insights on product intricacies found from testing experience
  • Revise delivery plans with Product Management and CTO, giving input on estimated time to go live based on testing status
  • Support the Customer Care team providing technical support to them, and educating them on QA issues relating to the product

We expect:

  • 3+ years of experience as QA doing black/grey-box testing
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject (certifications can be an advantage)
  • Fluent English communication skills - verbal and written
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Basecamp, Invision, GDrive and other product tools are an advantage
  • Attention and eye for detail both on the technical and UI/UX fronts
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Short-term adaptation: agile/flexible
  • Ability to identify technical and usability needs and put them into practice to directly impact the value of each project
  • Customer satisfaction orientation
